A family gemstone house, over a century in the making.
Casa De Gems was founded in Asia over a hundred years ago and has now been brought to the UK, with an updated style and a modern twist. We list finished jewellery, one-of-a-kind pieces and loose gems, chosen stone by stone.
Our story
This is a family business, spanning generations. Knowledge of gemstones and the craft of working with them has been handed down through the family, and it shows in everything we list. That gathered expertise is the reason we can stand behind every stone we sell.
Ethically sourced
Our gemstones are ethically sourced from Sri Lanka. Every stone comes with a certificate, and any treatment — heated or unheated — is disclosed in full in each listing. Nothing is glossed over; what we know about a stone, you will too.
What we list
- One-of-a-kind finished jewellery, set with precious gemstones.
- Custom-made pieces, built around the stones you choose.
- Loose gems — sapphires, diamonds and coloured stones.
- Silver pieces are hallmarked.
The catalogue is deliberately short. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind — when they are sold, they are gone.
